My name is Melissa Corry - I am a BCBA who has been working with individuals with disabilities for over 10 years. I began my work as a summer camp counselor with people with disabilities, which inevitably led to me discovering the field of ABA. I went to the University of Texas to pursue a master's degree in the field in 2017 and I have worked as an RBT/BCBA in Texas, New York, Los Angeles, and now Georgia. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with friends and family, listening to podcasts, and going for walks.
I strongly believe that all behavior is a form of communication and that it is our job to help children find and use their voice. My areas of training include discrete trial teaching (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), functional communication training (FCT), and positive behavior supports (PBS).
My favorite experiences in the field have been watching the positive impacts of ABA for my clients and their families. I have enjoyed watching parents get to know their children better, and watching children reach their full potential.
I love what I do because I love watching continuous growth in my clients, my families, and my staff.
You can expect me to provide services centered around assent and autonomy. I am compassionate, empathetic, and hard working. I am committed to improving the lives of those I work with for the better. I am always open to learning and growing withing the field, and viewing things from different perspectives.
