Hi! My journey with children with autism began during my undergraduate studies, when I had the opportunity to support kids both at school and in the community. After graduating, I continued this work, and that's where I discovered Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I quickly fell in love with the science behind it and the meaningful difference it can make in the lives of children and their families. Over the years, my passion for ABA has only grown, and I truly can't imagine doing anything else. Outside of work, I'm a big sports fan and love catching a game, whether at home or in the stands. I'm also an avid reader, and my ideal quiet evening involves a good book and my fur babies by my side. Above all, I treasure time with family and friends, especially when we're out exploring new places together.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I ground my practice in evidence-based principles and a deep understanding of behavior analysis. I begin by getting to know each individual's unique strengths and challenges, then design behavior plans and interventions tailored specifically to them. Through ongoing data collection and analysis, I continually refine my approach to make sure each client keeps moving forward. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. Working closely with families, caregivers, and other service providers creates a supportive environment where growth can truly happen. Guided by high ethical standards and a passion for helping every individual reach their full potential, I strive to make a lasting, meaningful difference in the lives of the clients and families I serve.
One of my most meaningful experiences in the field came from one of my very first clients. When we started working together, he had very limited communication skills and engaged in significant challenging behavior, so we truly began at square one. Through a close, collaborative partnership with his family, we slowly started to see small gains, and those small gains kept building. Over the three years I worked with him and his family, I watched him grow into a confident, fluent communicator using his AAC device. As his functional communication blossomed, his challenging behavior decreased right along with it. I credit this young man and his family with sparking my deep love for ABA and my lasting dedication to this work.
What fuels my passion for this work is the change I get to see in my clients and their families. Watching the children I work with grow, flourish, and reach their goals, and knowing I've played a part in that journey, inspires me to keep learning and refining my practice. I'm driven by the chance to make a real difference in the quality of life for my clients and the people who love them. Because I work so closely with families along the way, every milestone becomes a shared celebration, and that makes each success all the more rewarding.
When we work together, you can expect a personalized approach built around your child's unique needs and strengths. I'll start by asking questions and getting to know your child and your family, and from there, we'll set goals together that are tailored to your child. Open communication is a cornerstone of how I work, so you'll always know where things stand as we problem-solve challenges and celebrate successes side by side. With transparency and true partnership, I'll guide and support you throughout this journey as we work toward the goals that matter most to your child and your family.
