I have worked with the autism population since 2004 and I have been a BCBA since 2011. My experience includes supervising technicians, developing CEU programs to train other BCBAs, and conducting assessments. I have worked across various environments including clinic, school, home, community and tele-health settings. My career has included global opportunities where I have trained and provided services in Europe and Asia. I have worked with clients younger than 1 through young adulthood. I love to spend time with my family, create and look at art, and be around water to swim or kayak.
My mission for each family I work with is to provide techniques to make life more rewarding. Techniques used involve person centered approaches.
I love seeing clients achieve their goals. There are so many moments to celebrate, like when a child says their first word or a teenager obtains their driver's license. Those are the magical moments that make me feel lucky to be a part of it.
I learn something new everyday. ABA has taught me to celebrate the small steps, look for the positive, and to never underestimate others.
I will endeavor to help families adopt steps that will improve their quality of life.
