As a neurodivergent Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and big sister to a beautiful kiddo on the Autism Spectrum, I have been dedicated to disseminating resources, providing families with therapeutic services and coaching parents and educators on the implementation of evidence-based practices to ensure that each individual, irrespective of their abilities or setting, has the opportunity to flourish! Throughout the years as a Special Education Teacher, Clinician and Consultant, I realized that the implementation of strategies rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its benefits are a foreign language to stakeholders that need it most. It was simply devastating to come across uninformed parents, educators and clinicians about resources, strategies and therapeutic services available. Since then, I have been on a mission to bridge that gap as I believe that just one informed and equipped stakeholder is equivalent to hundreds of flourishing pupils through Behavior Solutions.
Treatment goals will be indicated by family priorities and assessment milestones.
Educating the adult learner on the principles of Behavior to ensure generalization of skills from the professional to the family member.
Walking with families as they navigate from confusion to clarity and a new experience of tranquility as a lifestyle regardless of a diagnosis is truly heartwarming to me. I understand the constant worry and endless questions, so being a resource and a safe space is truly a gift from God that I passionately embrace.
Consistency, frequent communication on progress & updates, and keeping the family accountable to implementation commitments.
